Infectious is a game built by a small group of students attending Bradley University's Interactive Media Department. The four of us were interested in game design and wanted to create our own iPhone game, however nothing like this had been attempted before by any of us or even our college. Thankfully our department is fairly flexible and allowed us to work on our game as an independent study course. It was not an easy task by any measure. Each of us had to learn brand new tools and were required to complete a working version of the game by the end of the semester. We met that goal and have continued to work on the game in our spare time, which is hard to come by at college, but we are now ready to release what we have worked on out in to the world.
To play Infectious simply touch the screen to make your virus rise and release to make it drop. Avoid obstacles like vein walls and the host's white blood cells. Pop red blood cells to regain health and points. At the end of each level a different organ of the host's is compromised. Shut down all the organs to kill your host.
A team of creative students help made this game possible.
Our team is considering making a sequel or a larger version of this game based on your downloads, comments and suggestions.
